Of the many paint manufacturing companies to choose from we primarily use “Sherwin Williams” and “Benjamin Moore” paints and stains. Other brands used are “Cabots”, “Sikkens”, ” Pratt & Lambert, “Pittsburg Paints” to name just a few. There are many “specialty coatings” used depending on the project type. We will also use upon the client’s request a brand of their choice.
This is the first process before painting. Powerwashing is the cleaning of the exterior surface of all mold, mildew, algae, airborn debris, etc. A chemical solution is used that is not harmful to plants and sprayed on the surfaces to be cleaned. It is allowed to set for a time and then powerwashed off using a high pressure washer.
The process of removing multi-layers of paint / stain from the surfaces of wood, metal and concrete. On wood clapboard siding it will also rid the mill glaze finish under the layer of paint and leave you with a properly prepared surface ready for paint or stain. Siding and decking are many times called for this process.
We will also incorporate minor carpentry work for areas where wood has been damaged due to rot, etc.
